Because I often use the NET Bible, I have used their translations of some books of the Apocrypha as my starting point for study.
I realize that there are more books than just these included in some Apocryphal lists, and when I run out of NET translations, I expect I’ll turn elsewhere online.
The traditional Catholic view of the deuterocanonical books (I’m not sure how widespread or official it is today) is that they were admitted into the canon as secondary books because they have turned out to be especially and uniquely useful as supplements for the teaching of the Church.
