	Apollo 440 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Apollo 440 is a British musical band formed in 1990 in Liverpool by brothers Trevor and Howard Gray with fellow Liverpudlian Noko.
		They also changed the writing of their name from Apollo 440 to Apollo Four Forty in 1996, which is how it has been printed on album covers since.
		Apollo Four Forty have a history of working together with various vocalists to achieve their musical goals.

		The name Noko, whilst sounding Japanese, is in fact just a Scouser nickname for Norman, which may at first glance be hard to believe given Noko's obsession with Japan.
		There are many myths ranking around how exactly the first meeting took place, ranging from absurdly comical to realistic, most of which were distributed freely in interviews by the two themselves, but regardless which of these holds truth, the two came together to form the band Luxuria in 1986.
		When Luxuria folded in 1990, Noko formed a new band together with his friends Trevor Gray and Howard Gray whom he knew from school, as well as with James Gardner (again) to form Apollo 440 and the record label Stealth Sonic Recordings (later distributed by Sony Music).

		This is a great album from the under-rated and reasonably unknown Apollo Four Forty.
		On par with their first album, Electroglide has many varied styles and culminates in a superb neo-classical piece "Stealth Mass in F." If you don't like it the first time you hear it you may do on repeated listenings, it grows on you.
		Apollo four forty got my attention after the exelent track "Ain't Talkin''Bout Dub" which is a awesome dance track with some awesome samples from Van Halen.
