Sebastien Pratchske (12) sounds underpowered for Hyacinthus but combines well with Philipp Cieslewicz (13) as Zephyrus: and the more I listened the more I realised that this was a good balance of voices for the devious Zephyrus and the innocent Hyacinthus.

Still, justice does not control everything: The good Hyacinthus must die despite having done no wrong, but at least the bad guy Zephyrus must die too, much to the regret of the listener, as Zephyrus has the most beautiful voice of all, being sung by Philipp Cieslewicz, and Hyacinthus (Sebastian Pratschke) comes second!
So does Apollo (Christian Günther with his deep alto voice), who finally, after clearing up all the misunderstandings, marries Melia, thus creating new bonds between Gods and earthlings.
Featuring good music, funny text, excellent singing, impeccable instrumental playing, fine recording quality, a complete libretto, and the special charm of Mozart's childhood works in original performance style, this CD set leaves no wishes unfulfilled!
