The pie was mediocre in comparison to some of the other pie joints in LA (pie n’ burger, for instance kicks the pie butt of the house of pie), but it’s not awful.
Certainly not the worst pie I've had, and if you really hate apricots (for some unimaginable reason) you will do fine with the other pies… but the apricot pie is by far the star of the group.
The butterscotch pecan pie was really cool, a crunchy candied pecan layer on the bottom kept the crust flaky, then the nuts were topped with a generous layer of butterscotch filling, in turn topped with whipped cream and more pecans.
