I walked around, had a chat with the man that runs an Internet pub here and we agreed on 4 pesos a minute to call Cancun, where one of my access providers is. Just one peso more then on Isla Mujeres but also 32 miles farther away from Cancun.
After that I had a real nice dinner for 21 pesos and was allowed to drink my own beer that I bought in the supermarket.
As I was walking around I thought 'this is a sleeping baby city', still undiscovered but 3 years from now masses of people from Cancun will come to snorkel the reef.
