He was the author of an extant treatise De Figuris Sententiarum et Elocutionis, written as an instalment of a complete rhetorical handbook for the use of a young and eager correspondent.
His treatise is really adapted from that by Alexander, son of Numenius, as is expressly stated by Julius Rufinianus, who brought out a supplementary treatise, augmented by material from other sources.

Each mention of ethopoiia (and there are many in the 600 pages) inclludes or implies that the term covers the author's attribution of both good and bad character to a given person.
A good example is Aquila Romanus, De figuris sententiarum et elocutionis, # 4: he includes the phrase "ad improbitatem earum [personarum] demonstrandam vel ad dignitatem." Similar are the others in this volume.
But, in Dionysius of Halicarnassus' Lysias 8 only good character is discussed: he argues that Lysias ethopoiia lay in his skill in portraying a good chracter for his clients, as he makes them speak well -- khresta kai epieike kai metria legontas.

Although technically an advisory body, during the Republic, the Senate was the chief governmental body, because it controlled public finances and foreign affairs, assigned military commands and provinces, and debated and passed decrees that would be submitted to the assemblies for final ratification.
SPQR remained a potent symbol throughout the history of the Empire, as the Senate still remained to be seen as (theoretically) the highest authority during the times of the emperors.

While F9 and F10 can be combined to make grammatical and historical sense, there was no necessity, either in the texts themselves or in the commentary of the Bobbio Scholiast, to do so.

If F9 and F10 were originally contiguous, one must wonder why the Scholiast chose to split them.
