For contractors, the most pressing issue for the new government and the national assembly is to clear the backlog of projects, stalled by six months of political stalemate.
Contractors say this is due to the reliance of the client, the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu, on funds from the Finance & National Economy Ministry which have not been forthcoming.

Following the success of the expansion projects at Abu Dhabi completed in 2002, which included a new 4,100m runway and taxiway, a new satellite terminal, a rapid transit shuttle and a series of 18 new aircraft stands that cost nearly $230m, the passenger traffic was recognised to be more than the airport could handle comfortably.
The project is expected to double the existing area of the airport to 34km².

The reason why Haiato wants the final to take place on the Cairo Stadium is to because the Cairo Stadium will host the opening match and the final of the coming African nations cup and he thinks that a final in this stadium would be more than great.
Cairo stadium will not be ready for matches before January 10th (due to an issue with the new lighting system), so the African Champions league final match between Ahly and Etoile Sahel can not be played there.
