Araucaria heterophylla and Wollemia come from much warmer climates, where 'winter' means 10 to 20°C, so they don't object to normal room temperatures.
Tree, they not only need dormancy (cold!) but I think the chances of survival where you live are pretty dim, to say the least.
To me when I think of "zone pushing" I think of trying to grow warmer zone plants in my zone, but your question reminds me that it can work both ways: growing colder zone plants in warmer zones can be zone pushing as well.
