This function is different from the resident ArcView table "Export" function which writes point attribute data but not the point coordinates.
The "Cross Section Table Tool" operates on point themes and generates a new table in ArcView that contains points whose coordinates have been transformed from the point theme's original coordinate space to the coordinate space defined by the axis of the cross section line.
Dawn Wright (Oregon State University) describes the use of ArcView aboard the deepsea research vessel Atlantis II for managing and interpreting oceanographic data.

When you open an ArcView Project file that has links to data files that have been moved since it was saved you will have to "tell" ArcView where you have moved every file.
ArcView will prompt you with a window asking where the file it can not find is located, it will even tell you the feature type of the file it is looking for, as well as the location where it used to be.

Spatial Tools is an ArcView extension that contains a collection of 32 tools that extend the capabilities of Spatial Analyst The majority of tools are implementations of functions available in spatial analyst from Avenue programming or awkwardly in the map calculator but not from the menu, button, or tool interface.
The influence of multiple types of variation can be examined with PVA, including differences in the values of population parameters, such as initial population sizes and birth or death rates, and differences in the way those parameters vary, including binomial or random distributions and bootstrapping of observed values.
The PVA extension to ArcView allows one to create life tables based on overall population parameters or utilize a fully populated life table to conduct multiple population simulations.
