		The comic is not to be confused with Sonic the Comic, which ran in the UK and published more issues despite running for a shorter time (due to the fact that U.K. comics are made on a more frequent schedule than U.S. comics).
		Sonic is in some ways different from his game counterpart - in the comics, he is displayed as having a rather strong sense of humour, as well as important familial ties with his family and friends; characteristics absent from most other incarnations.
		Sonic and friends reestablished their lost kingdom and dealt with various underlings to Robotnik, as well as unrelated villains such as Ixis Naugus and Mammoth Mogul.

	General Comic Information
		The very first Sonic comic strip that I know of was published in the US as an Advertising Supplement in 'Disney Adventures Magazine' Volume 2 No. 1, November 1991 (the issue with Michael Jordan on the cover).
		Unlike Archie Comics, Fleetway Publications used the same story about Sonic's origin that had aleady been shown in the previously-menitoned Disney Adventures Magazine, and created a background which was mostly based on the Sonic games from SEGA.
		In both comic versions, Sonic and his friends fight to free their home planet, Mobius, from the rule of the evil scientist Doctor Robotnik.

		Actually, the reason why Cream and Cheese aren't in Archie is because Sega of America treats them as Sonic X characters and right now, Sonic X-based characters aren't allowed in Archie Sonic.
		But Cream was orginaly ment to appear in Sonic X before that game was even made.

		Do you suppose this mini-series will become more popular than the regular comic since it will be more close to the game like the show is, and if it does do you suppose it will replace what we have now.
		I think the Sonic X comic will do really well, but I don't think it will do better than their Sonic comic series.
		The comic adaption wouldn't have to steal precicesly from the cartoon anyway, and I'm sure it'll be another alternate universe affair.

		I really liked sonic the hedgehog firsts but....they say on the first page they say that a charecter called CLUK is in the book but is he?..............................NO I DONT THINK A CHARECTER CALLED CLUK IS IN THAT COMIC BOOK!.............But I did like SUPER SONIC.
		The man has talent, the comic was never the same without him, so it was so nice to see his work again in this collection.
