Ardal O'Hanlon was schooled in Blackrock College in Dublin and graduated from the National Institute for Higher Education, Dublin (now Dublin City University) in Communications Studies in 1987.

I caught Ardal's set on television last night.
His is one of the few acts I can watch over and over again and its just as funny as the first time I watched it.
Father Ted is beyond compare, I have enjoyed Ardal O'Hanlon's other stuff, My Hero has at times been a little weak but it's amiable enough, he does bring a likeability to his roles and performances which masks any shortcomings in the scripts.
