Zola Makepula, 24, of Cape Town and Anele Nyanga, 25, of Cala, were both given life sentences plus 44 years.
Zolani Bhashe, 24, of Engcobo, was sentenced to 38 years' jail.
All were charged with murder, attempted murder, attempted armed robbery and the possession of illegal firearms and ammunition.

Cape Town — A police officer is the main suspect in the execution of five petrol attendants in Grassy Park.
Senior police sources said last night that a policeman was being questioned and had allegedly confessed that he shot dead Arthur Ngxumza, Julius Mjali, Saziso Bhashe, Sibongile Same and Alfred Nyumbeka once in the back of the head.
Although a small amount of cash — not more than R1 000 — was taken from the office of Jaffers Service Station, the motive for the killings is still not clear.

The committee has received a total of 197 poems of different languages.
Off them 137 are in Kannada, 38 in Kodava, 5 in Arey Bhashe, 2 in Tamil, 8 in Hindi, 1 each in Telugu Byari and Maleyalam and 3 poems are in English.
Out of them only 21poems in Kannada, 9 of Kodava, 1 of Tamil, 2 each of Tulu, Hindi and Arey Bhashe, one each in English, Telugu and Maleyalam will be printed and published in the annual book of poems.
