	Area code 519/226 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Area code 519 is an area code that covers almost all of southwestern Ontario and was introduced in 1953; portions of area code 416 and area code 613 were combined to form the new code area.
		It is bounded by area code 905 in the east except for Simcoe County which is bordered by area code 705 in the northeast.

	Area code 416/647 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Area code 416 is one of the original 86 area codes from 1947, and currently serves the single rate centre of Toronto, Ontario.
		It has been split twice - the southwestern portion of 416 became area code 519 in 1953, and in 1993 the remaining portion of 416 outside of Toronto became 905.
		In 2001, 416 was overlaid with area code 647, requiring all local calls to be dialed with ten digits.

		Area Code 226 is coming to Southwestern Ontario in October when is scheduled to launch as an overlay in the current 519 area.
		If patterns are similar as other areas that have had overlaid area codes the first 226 numbers will likely be used for cell phones, pagers and possibly even VoIP numbers.
