In 1349 Argeleb I claimed sovereignty over all Arnor again (but not the High Kingship) because the last Heirs of Isildur had died out in Rhudaur and Cardolan sometime between 1272 (the year Malvegil, his father, became King of Arthedain) and 1349.
I would not be surprised if both died in the 14th century, perhaps in the fighting that must by this time have become almost perpetual.
Even so, the lands between Baranduin and Lune had become so empty that in 1600 Argeleb II was free to grant them to the Hobbits as a shire.

Amlaith was the eldest son of Earendur, so his brothers may have outlived him (unless in their state of rebellion their lives were shortened -- that's a sticky issue).
The original entries for the Kings of Arthedain indicate that it was Malvegil, not his son Argeleb I, who attempted to reassert the elder line's authority over Rhudaur and Angmar.
So I don't believe there were any descendants of Isildur left in either Rhudaur or Cardolan by, say, 1300.
