Argonaut News 2000/1   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-04)
Argonaut released a number of titles during the period, all of which failed to sell in the sort of volumes originally anticipated and thus royalties over and above the advances are expected to be limited.
As Argonaut has sufficient cash reserves to cover these development costs, the Company's position is, ironically, potentially strengthened as it allows it to seek a better deal from a publisher due to the reduced funding risk that the publisher would have had to incur themselves.
Argonaut's failure to secure a publishing deal for Orchid in particular contributed to this as the Company spent the year incurring losses on developing the product and had guided analysts to assume it would have been signed by the year-end.

I-Ninja - Xbox (XB) Reviews - The Armchair Empire
The game begins with you, a hot-shot rookie ninja-in-training, recklessly killing your sensei after not heeding his warning to avoid touching one of the mysterious rage stones.
Control is solid throughout most of the game, but like most platformers, has some exasperating high falls while attempting some of the annoying platform jumps that are par for the genre.
Other weapons that are found through the game’s levels are not as powerful as your katana, but can be effective and in certain instances crucial to success at passing a particular section, including blow darts and shurikens.

Alien Resurrection Review for PlayStation - Gaming Age   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-04)
Argonaut Games has done this through a fast engine that has the capabilities to render environments and characters that creates a feeling of suspense and despair as Ripley continues her descent into almost certain death.
It’d understandable that the game is supposed to be immersive with such darkness, and to have opponents who are smart enough to pull off such maneuvers, but more often than not, the deaths end up being cheap and unnecessary.
Argonaut Games definitely has the creative tools at their fingertips; there are just a few technicalities that have to be worked out before ascending to the next level.

 WORTHPLAYING - - All about games !
The people at Argonaut apparently came to the conclusion that the ideal futuristic racer should have you barreling down tracks at gut wrenching speeds well in excess of 1,000 mph … and little else.
Another strike against the game would be the various modes of game play, which seem to lack any innovation.
If nothing else, this game over Xbox Live can teach you the wisdom of patience, as I was not able to find a single soul in the Powerdrome server so if you were hoping to find someone to share your love of futuristic racing games, look elsewhere.

The game is structured in your typicall hub format with new locations becoming unlocked as you earn new belts for your ninja.
While the game is predominanty a platform title one of the more impressive aspects is the numerous mini-games and gameplay styles.
Overall, a game that doesn't come up to the high standards set by others like Jak II: Renegade or Ratchet and Clank 2, but having said that this is a much more child-firendly title that will keep the young ones happy for quite some time.
