Argonaut Group PLC warned of a potential £6m loss in August of 2004 which saw the share price of the company quickly collapse.
Argonaut Software Ltd was eventually closed which resulted in around 100 people losing their jobs [1] and hundreds of shareholders their investment.

Shortly before Argonaut Software Ltd went into administration he illegally made redundant over 50 members of staff, giving them no warning, no notice period, no redundancy settlement, no pay for previous weeks of hard work and absolutely no regard to the loyalty and hard work of his staff has given him through the years.
When Argonaut went into administration the two studios were bought in less than a week giving no other investor time to look at what was on offer, it is as if it was pre planned.
As for Argonaut Software Ltd, according to the administrators at David Rubin and Partners, it is not actually in liquidation, probably waiting to sell it to their friend Jez San for £1.

The BRender rendering software that is already available calculates the three-dimensional graphics and generates animations in real time, which cuts the memory required for the average computer game from around 4Mb to something in the region of 512Kb.
Argonaut is using the ARC chip in its MPEG work as well as in its three-dimensional rendering software.
