It was, however, one of the questions posed by Professor Ariel Rubinstein, who kept faculty and students entertained with his lecture, entitled “John Nash: A Beautiful Mind and Game Theory” last night in the Intercultural Center Auditorium.
Rubinstein, is a native of Jerusalem and a professor of economics at Tel Aviv University and at Princeton University, addressed a full crowd consisting of Economics Department faculty members as well as undergraduate and graduate economics students, on the usefulness of game theory.
Rubinstein began by talking about his first experience with John Nash, the world renowned, yet schizophrenic, mathematician.

Recently (Saturday, August 20 th 2005) Ariel Rubinstein was a discussant in a session on Behavioral Economics in the World Congress of the Econometric Society.
Since we were fully convinced that the design, the method, the data collection and the result were sound, and that the results were therefore reliable, we eventually declined to follow his advice.
In the follow up study we asked the managers to allow us to give Rubinstein their phone numbers so he could confirm with them that the design was followed.

The volume under review includes all xx + 641 pages of the third (1953) edition of von Neumann and Morgenstern's instant classic, first published in September 1944 (hereinafter abbreviated TGEB).
The extra xii + 98 pages contain a new introduction by Harold Kuhn, a new afterword by Ariel Rubinstein, a fifteen-page account by Morgenstern of his collaboration with von Neumann, and a number of opinion pieces about the ultimate place of the book in intellectual history.
