		The champion 3yo filly of 2002 finished 5th in the Arima Kinen two years ago before kicking off as runner-up in the Gr.3 Queen Stakes in August last year after an eight-month spell.
		The five-year-old son of Singspiel came third in the 2002 Gr.1 Takarazuka Kinen before snatching two graded stakes victories in a row in the Gr.2 Nakayama Kinen and Gr.2 Milers Cup last year.
		The bay horse rounded off the season with a 4th in the Arima Kinen.

		Reigning Japanese Horse of the Year Symboli Kris S carved out an ending befitting a champion on Sunday when he captured the Arima Kinen (Japanese Grand Prix) for the second straight season by a record nine lengths at Nakayama Racecourse.
		Not only did he toy with his 11 foes in the 2,500-meter (about 1 9/16-mile) Arima Kinen, but his winning time of 2:30.50 was also a stakes record, topping the previous mark by one-tenth of a second.
		Symboli Kris S became just the fourth horse to repeat as the winner in the Arima Kinen.
