Stockholm-Arlanda, or simply Arlanda, is an international airport located in Sigtuna Municipality, 42 km north of Stockholm and 31 km south of Uppsala.
The new central building, Arlanda North, opened late 2003, connecting terminal 5 with the newly built Pier F. All international flights handled by SAS and its Star Alliance partners use the new central building.
In 2004, 348 couples exchanged vows and were married at the airport in 2004, representing a 30% increase on 2003.

ARLANDA Express passenger services have been launched on the new 40km rail/air link between Stockholm Central station and Arlanda international airport.
The initial fleet of seven 200km/h four-car emus (above), built by Alstom, is operated by A-Train, a company formed by Arlanda Link Consortium (ALC) to operate services and retain revenue under the terms of a 45-year concession secured from the state-appointed authority Arlandabanen Project.
One of the airport stations handles regional and inter-city passenger services, while the other two provide direct access to airport terminals 2, 3, 4, and 5.
