Gamepage :: Armadillo Run - Review by Game Tunnel
Armadillo Run is an interesting game to review, and not only because it adds yet another wacky video game animal to my ever-growing zoo collection.
Armadillo Run plays very much like a tech demo in realistic structure physics (well, only as realistic as physics in a vacuum can be).
The game benefits from its simplicity because nothing is obstructed on screen and there are not complicated backgrounds to distract.

Gamepage :: Charlie II - Review by Game Tunnel
Game play progresses in 2D fashion, with each level starting at the left of the screen and progressing in an entirely haphazard towards the right side of the screen.
Moving through the game, after you have passed any one level, you are able to move on to the next level, and game play is saved so that you can continue on at the next level at a later time.
One of the keys to being a master of video games in the old days was being able to control your character.

Dreamfall: The Longest Journey (pc: 2006): Reviews
Although the game holds an intriguing and extremely likable protagonist in the plucky slacker Zoe Castillo, the rest of the game in the gritty parlance of the streets, blows enormous monkey chunks.
The game should have been a movie, only if it had been, all the parts you're actually playing would have been cut, as they're the most uninteresting and straightforward parts of the game.
Game picks the interest from the begening, graphics are real good, ideas of story is real nice, but ending is sad, hoping for a secong part of the game soon.

Video Game Talk | Reviews | Kameo: Elements of Power
There's a good bit of variety, and the most visually impressive stretches of the game are set in the Badlands where the war against the hordes of trolls is most heavily waging.
Kameo has to be seen on a big-screen HDTV to be fully appreciated; the game is bright, colorful, and immaculately detailed, and, at least from a normal viewing distance, there's hardly a trace of aliasing to be found.
Kameo's elemental forms don't speak as such, but the sounds they mutter as they wobble around contribute to their surprisingly strong sense of personality, and the design of the sound effects as a whole is remarkable.

Armadillo Run is a build-and-simulate puzzle game in the same vein as Bridge Construction Set and The Incredible Machine.
The game has cloth, rope, and elastic (although technically these are all simply tightly-knit series of spring segments).
In this game, though, the only “level” you get are the anchor points, which you can only do so much with, level design wise, and ready-made contraptions, and the problem with both of these is that you never end up building something you’re proud of when it finally works.

 Armadillo Run Review
Armadillo Run is one of the neatest little games we've played since Pontifex.
Timers will automatically destroy an object after several seconds, which permits you to drop something in the way of a moving armadillo, or perhaps to launch the armadillo with an elastic or rubber if you time the moment it passes them precisely.
One of the few complaints we have with the game is that timers aren't quite as precise as we'd always like - they seem to move in increments of about two tenths of a second, which can throw off the optimal impact point of an elastic-powered metal slab against the armadillo.

Armadillo Run is a physics-based puzzle game I have written over the last few months.
This encourages inventive solutions to the levels, where anything is allowed as long as you get the armadillo to the end of the level.
The gameplay is excellent, I don't think I've ever saw a game that revolves around constructions based upon physics, the physics are extremely realistic, I love the idea of material/support tension and the graphics are also pretty nifty (although there aren't any major special effects (besides the explosions caused by breaks in the construction).

As the violent video games get more and more violent with time and technology, the rates for violent crimes decrease, showing that the obvious increase in video game violence cannot be causing more violence in the real world, and may even be a constructive alternative for violence, rather than a contribution to it.
Video games, however, are the most active of the sedentary activities.
I have made an analysis of video game genres and come to what I feel is the most logical conclusion, and therefore what should be the standard in my opinion.
