The EP was meant mostly to let the fans know what this Belladonna cat was all about and aside from having a bit of a rushed production, is a pretty decent little EP.
The reissued versions of this EP also feature the two tracks from their original 1983 single, "Soldiers of Metal" and "Howling Furies", which should dispell any concerns one might have over the abilities of Belladonna compared to Turbin.
This famous Japanese-only EP was released right before Anthrax began to lose their sense of humor as a band.

I loved Molina's Ock.Loved him.He was great, visually stunning and very sinister when he was being the villain. But his Ock was not nearly as faithful as the Ock in 'Armed and dangerous'.
Locked in the cell with his arms spread out and not once did ock show any sign of a defeatist attitude, badass and plotting to the very end, ock is, as opposed to him being a good guy, redeeming himself and saving the city all the while suffering for it and drowning in a river.
It seems pretty clear in my mind that armed and dangerous does a far better portrayal of the characters in the spider-man franchise than spidey 2 does.

Between Fistful of Metal and Spreading the Disease was the Armed and Dangerous EP (1985) which was the debut of vocalist Joey Belladonna, my favourite Anthrax vocalist.
The EP was also good, with the stand out title track being one of Anthrax's strongest (if not the strongest) moments.

Besides "Caught in a Mosh," two songs based on Stephen King prose and one inspired by a British comic character, Anthrax trots out a bit of common Bronx street slang to humorous effect in "Efilnikufesin (N.F.L.)," while using the word "dissin" in "Indians." May 15, 2003 - Coming to PC and Xbox this winter, LucasArts' Armed & Dangerous is one of my favorite new games found at this year's E3.
As stated in our previous hands-on, Armed & Dangerous is "based on a true story." This true story just happens to tell the tale of a rag-tag group of misfits (a criminal mastermind, a mole, and a tea-loving robot) looking to pull off the greatest heist of all time.
With so many cool, high-profile LucasArts games coming over the next 12 months, it's almost strange to admit that Armed & Dangerous, likely the most unknown of them all, is among my favorites.

 METALEATER.COM - Interviews - Anthrax - Joey Belladonna
Since the early '80s, New York-based metal legends ANTHRAX have been paving the metal highway with their original, fist-in-face, mosh-inspiring brand of thrash mastery - something that has earned the band a hefty fan-base and resounding respect in the metal industry.
To much effect, it was Joey Belladonna's presence that solidified the ANTHRAX lineup, which began in 1985 with the release of the "Armed And Dangerous" EP, followed by a long string of praised gems like "Spreading The Disease" (1985), "Among The Living" (1987), and "State Of Euphoria" (1988), among others.
Sadly though, troubled relations between Belladonna and the rest of the band resulted in him being replaced by John Bush (ARMORED SAINT) in 1993.
