		"Armed Love" hits the listener with a heavy wall of distortion that LyxzÃ©n breaks through with his forceful vocals.
		Armed Love explores the familiar theme of how capitalism (consumerism) distorts our desires, makes us passive and isolated and how revolution means not only change of economic systems and power structures, but also a reclaiming of our desires and passions.
		Armed Love is certainly more melodic and musically complicated than their earlier work, which may not appeal to hard-core punk fans, but is perfectly in line with their ethos, which is not about one-dimensional fury.

		I love all T(I)NC...but since i got this cd, i've listened to it about 3 times a day, and when i can't listen to it, i find myself humming the songs in my head.
		"Armed Love" is not nearly as good as their two previous albums: "New Morning, Changing Weather" and "Survival Sickness"; but T(I)NC has still put together a well performed album that is strong from top to bottom.

		The organ is definitely more of a force on Armed Love, where it seems that the entire album is driven by the pulsating beat of the organ.
		After the first go-round of Armed Love (U.S.A. Bonus Tracks edition) in my CD player, I noticed less of the overtly political songwriting on A New Morning that is replaced by more positive songs about love and empowerment.
		I love the 1st lost patrol record, refused, the preceding INC albums, but his recent output in all his projects have been way too reserved.

		"Armed Love" plays out exactly like you'd expect a major-label debut to -- the production is slick and although the music is solid, it doesn't stray too far from the band's previous energetic, '60s garage rock and punk sounds.
		Organist Sara Almgren's abscence is filled by the addition of small doses of harmonicand saxophone to the mix, and the new instrumentation provides even more of an old school rock feel to the act's soulful, hand clapping rhythms.

		It’s worst on ‘Armed Love’ with juvenile chatter about armed revolution and grating lyrics in best Adam Ant fashion: “now you’re showing me how you move/ to music, riots and to this groove”.
		Elsewhere, the slogan on the album “either everyone dances or no-one dances” is the sort of empty rhetoric that sounds great on a bedsit poster.
		Like the MC5 or the Clash, maybe it’s that creative tension between ideology and the need to entertain that provokes their most interesting material.
