 Cessna Helicopter
Some Army YH-41s were continued to be operated into the 1960s and some were either scrapped or repurchased by Cessna in the 1960s with the exception of 56-4244 which was retained as a museum piece.
Aviation photographer Chad Slattery kindly provided pictures of a 1962 Cessna 5" x 8" promotional postcard which is from the estate of Al Vopal who ran Custom Models in Macedonia, Ohio; Al made many models for Cessna but Chad can't recall seeing a Skyhook model.
I taught maintenance on the H-13 for awhile in the Army and later did an STC on a conversion of the 47J to a 47J-2 equipped with the supercharged Lycoming from the 47G-2A.

 Naval Aviation in World War I
When hostilities ceased, the Navy and Marine Corps aviators were using 27 bases in Europe, two in Canada, one in the Canal Zone, one in the Azores, and 12 in the United States.
This training was arranged by an agreement with the Army and the RFC that 25 men from the Navy would be included in the contingent of 100 Americans for which the Government of Canada had agreed to provide flight training.
Established for the purpose of testing the capabilities of aviation to operate with fleet forces, the new command marked the beginning of a permanent provision for aviation in fleet organization.

 Attack Helicopter Team
The formidable surveillance and target acquisition (STA) capability of the sensor suite together with other improvements in weapon systems and avionics mean that the Apache AH Mk 1 will represent a major enhancement to the armed forces capability.
The Apache AH Mk 1 presents a completely new capability with implications for the British Army's organisation and training, doctrine, logistics and peacetime infrastructure.
Currently 12 Apache are based at the School of Army Aviation at Middle Wallop in Hampshire and are being used to conduct intensive training and initial operational evaluation so that everything is in place to train the first Field Army unit from 9 Regiment AAC later this year.
