 5 Div Army Cadets
The Army Cadet Force (ACF) and the tri-service Combined Cadet Force (CCF) are both dynamic organisations, highly popular with young people, comprising over 440 ACF detachments in 17 Counties drawn from the wider young community, and 70 Schools CCF Army Sections.
There are some 17,000 ACF and Army Section CCF cadets within the Divisional area, about a third of them girls, and nearly 2,000 officers and instructors.
There are about 80 cadets per detachment and cadets can join between the ages of 12 and 18.
