Arriva took over in West Yorkshire from West Riding buses, and my only complaint is that the fares do have a nasty habit of increasing.
Arriva busses are dirty, filthy, smelly things to travel on and are very expensive to use - and their trains are even worse.

The eastbound train runs in the morning toWarrington marshalling yard where it combines with a train frok the paper mill at Knowsley for the journey across the Pennines.
The train shunts the sidings which are on the east of line before Chirk station, and then has to run through the station and on to Gobowen station three miles further south for the loco to run round, as there is no crossover at Chirk.
