| | Amazon.co.uk: The Professor: Arsene Wenger at Arsenal: Books: Myles Palmer (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-26) |
 | | Firstly if you are an Arsenal fan this isnt a bad read, Palmer goes into alot of depth of the Highbury career from 96 to 04 of Arsene Wenger but you feel he is trying to insinuate a close relationship to the Arsenal manager that isnt there. |
 | | This often starts with the Arsenal AGM, which is basically where the Arsenal board and Arsene Wenger answer shareholders questions, giving an interesting insight into how the club is run, the personalities of those who run it, and the pleases and concerns of those who pay for it. |
 | | Palmer tries to analyse Arsenal's style of play and to explain their gross failure in European comeptition but his efforts are undermined by the occassional factual error (eg Arsenal won 8 games in a row after the 1-1 draw with Chelsea in 2002, not 9, as Palmer claimed). |
