For example, Hindu Kalarippayattu though considered to be somewhat of an "art" really as its origins in tribal dances of the Ayurveda and othera Kerala danceforms.
Perhaps Laos had some type of warrior-ritual dances, which could have combined with exterior influences to become a fighting system.
