		I thought at first that the availability of the Dragonmarked Heir of Deneith might help him a little, but despite her ability to increase the survivability of Artemis, but I don't think she is an ideal choice, because she doesn't hit reliably and depends on sneak attack for ideal damage output as well.
		I, too, was a big fan of artemis and disapointed to see his cost so high and him basically uncompetative. after the last few books, where he trades in his killer instinct and his weapons for a heart and a purse, well, it doesnt bother me anymore. he can suck all he wants to now.
