Lloyd George wanted to punish Germany politically and economically for devastating Europe during the war, but did not want to utterly destroy the German economy and political system the way Clemenceau and many other people of France wanted to do.

Arthur Lloyd died in May 1967, and we sadly have no record of a representative of the Legion of Frontiersmen being present at his funeral and as he was cremated we have no grave to honour, however these few words go to commemorate a brilliant cartoonist, a very brave man and true Frontiersman.
