Regarding Arthur Mullard (who doesn't appear on the CD, lackaday!) I always enjoyed his cameos in Hancock's Half Hour and also his very 'Arthur' cameo in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
The Arthur Mullard stuff is a bit of a 'Daddy Dearest' thing, coming out of 'revelations' made five months after his death.

Mullard's distinctive "ugly mug" appearance and particular variety of cockney accent lent itself to a certain character and pretty soon he graduated to more visible roles in comedy films and on television.
It was on television where Arthur Mullard truly made a name for himself, firstly as a straight man for the likes of Tony Hancock, Frankie Howerd and Benny Hill, and he starred in The Arthur Askey Show.

Yes, and Arthur Mullard and Hylda Baker even dressed up (sort of) like John Travolta and Olivia Newton John for the video and their appearance on Top of the Pops - not a pretty sight.
Bernard Breslaw did indeed record "mad passionate love" but arthur also recorded it, i actualy have a recording, god knows why, and it is not a patch on the B.breslaw version.
