Oda Nobunaga - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In 1534, Nobunaga was born to regional daimyo Oda Nobuhide in Shobata Castle in Owari Province.
In a political manoeuvre, Hirate Masahide sent a proposal to the Oda clan's rival daimyo in Mino province, Saito Dosan, to have Nobunaga marry Dosan's daughter, Nōhime.
Historically, the Oda clan had been subordinate to the Asakura clan, and Asakura Yoshikage also temporarily protected Ashikaga Yoshiaki but was not willing enough to march toward Kyoto; thus, the Asakura clan despised Nobunaga the most for his success.

While the emperor was still the ruler, powerful clans around Kyoto (京都) assumed positions as ministers, and their relatives bought positions as magistrates.
However, the Taira clan was still very conservative in comparison with its eventual successor, the Minamoto, and instead of expanding or strengthening its military might, the Taira clan had its women marry emperors and attempted to exercise control through the emperor.
It is then obvious to the villans that he can destroy their entire clan and the villains surrender in the hope that his punishments will not extend to their families.

You can imagine that as the Samurai of the Asakura clan were faced with more and more dangers, they added more and more training methods to meet these threats, and to over come all obstacles to ensure the safety and longevity of the clan.
Because the Asakura clan, which was the lord of the domain (The founder of Mukushin Ryu and next few generations of Soke were Asakura's retainers), lost a battle with Oda Nobunaga, they hid underground and didn't leave any documents or writings on the style.
While it is customary for the various Soke of the various styles of swordsmanship to claim that what they teach is directly related to the training of the Samurai, most "modern" Samurai-type arts are based on the Samurai arts that were developed in times of peace.
