		Most of the views on the question of Aseb, it must be added, are somewhat simplistic, perhaps reflecting the lack of depth of knowledge in what is involved and also reflecting the political biases of the writers.
		The question of Aseb is often difficult and complex and that the inferences drawn are often influenced by one's political position.
		The distinction between "ownership" and "usage" of the port of Aseb is crucial to understanding the incentives that govern the action of the Ethiopian government.

	History of the Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board
		The ASEB was established in 1967 "to focus talents and energies of the engineering community on significant aerospace policies and programs." In undertaking its responsibility, the ASEB recommends priorities and procedures for achieving aerospace engineering objectives and offers a way to bring engineering and other related expertise to bear on aerospace issues of national importance.

		While it is a fact that the ASEB generates too little power of its own to meet the demand, more shameful and condemnable is the huge loss that it is allowing to take place in the transmission and distribution (T&D) of power without batting an eyelid.
