What startled Mukherjee was that BHW Birla also demanded a post- dated cheque of the loan outstanding three years from the date of disbursement.
He immediately wrote off the idea of refinancing his loan dread- ing that should he not be in a position to pay, and if the origi- nal lender did not forward his documents, he could be in serious trouble.
