 | | Moreover, for Eritrea the Assab Region is only symbolic and being so far away from Eritrean centers of activity, difficult to manage and defend, especially given the hostility and current war of liberation of the Afar inhabitants, and a more powerful state always waiting to restore the territory to its former and rightful status. |
