Once again re-united as FLA, Bill And Rhys released a killer single ‘Maniacal’ (2003) as a precursor to the new album ‘Civilization’ (2004) and the sighs of relief amongst FLA fans were audible across the globe.
The period of 1993/94 saw another transitional period for FLA. One album was shelved (later to be released under the Noise Unit tag ‘Decoder’ (1994) as being out of synch with the band wanted to create as FLA, and a new album was recorded.
A year later and FLA released the album ‘Implode’ (1999) which while not as groundbreaking as ‘FLAvour’ saw FLA consolidated their position as one of the leading forces in the world of Industrial music.

This album 'Implode' is my second taste of FLA, having purchased this album through amazon from the reviews.
FLA was for a long time at the forefront of electronica/ambient industrial beats before Peterson, Leeb & Fulber created new sounds from old cloth with their side projects the two that made it were Noise Unit and Delerium.

Although I still prefer their older material, I consider Assembly to be a great (if flawed) album.
Being an avid fan of industrial music (including Zeromancer, Apoptygma Berzerk, And One, Wolfsheim, etc.), it is probably a lot easier for me to appreciate such albums as Musique and Assembly as opposed to someone who exclusively prefers the gloomy metallic sound of the debut through Aegis.
Once again, I find that both Musique and Assembly will appeal to fans of industrial/synth-pop more than fans of the first three albums.
