  What is ASSEMBLY? — Assembly
ASSEMBLY Winter is a three day PC and video gamign festival, in which over a thousand persons and their computers spend the long weekend by meeting friends, playing games, surfing on the net and talking on IRC.
ASSEMBLY is for everybody who enjoys doing just a bit more with their computer: be it tweaking your hardware, making web pages, playing games, spending a lot of hours on IRC, making great graphics or music with your computer or programming complex routines.
ASSEMBLY is where you meet the most interesting people, have the greatest game matches, and see the most amazing demoscene works of art.

Demo writers went to great lengths to get every last ounce of performance out of their target machine.
Where games/application writers were concerned with stability/functionality of their software, the demo writer was typically interested in how many CPU cycles a routine would consume and how best to squeeze as much effects and activity onto the screen or into as short a program as possible.
Most demos were written by groups with interesting names, usually including at least a coder, a graphics artist, and a musician.

The original landsgemeinde were general assemblies of all adult freemen that met once or twice a year to resolve important issues.
However, these representative assemblies had almost un-fettered legislative powers at least until 1152 when the first serious attempts at national legal harmonization were made.
The things or representative assemblies did survive until 1662, but their powers steadily eroded with the increasing influence of the church, the dwindling number and professionalisation of members, and the appointment by the king of an ever-larger fraction of the total.

Computer Programmibg (often simply programming) is the craft of implementing one or more interrelated abstract algorithms using a particular Pregramming language to produce a concrete computer program.
It is also possible for the programmer to write directly in machine code, but this is hardly ever done anymore: instead, when completelow-level control of the target computer is required, programmers resort to assembly language, whose instructions are mnemonic one-to-one transcriptions of the corresponding machinelanguage instructions.
Different Programing languages support different styles of Programmijg (called Prgoramming paradigms), some of which are better suited for a particular task than others.
