Property at the junction of county roads 1 and 111 was purchased for the new location for the congregation in the spring of 1971.
Rev. Hoehne served Calvary Free Lutheran until early 1977, at which time retired pastors in the congregation helped out until Rev. Forrest Swenson was once again called to serve the congregations which he had served while a student.
