The 2004 Assembly of the Association of Reformed Baptist Churches of America (ARBCA) met in Gilbert, Arizona, on 2-5 March.
An encouraging report was brought by Dr Jim Renihan of the Institute of Reformed Baptist Studies (Escondido, California), who had recent opportunities to address students in the Philippines and the Ukraine.
Participants were particularly impressed with the manner in which the host church, Grace Covenant, welcomed the Assembly and made sure everything was provided efficiently, courteously and cheerfully.

Forty-seven member churches were represented and five new churches were received into the membership of ARBCA.
Examples include the Particular Baptist Fund, begun in 1707, as a focus for practical help for pastors and churches, and Hopewell College in New Jersey, born of the Philadelphia Baptist Association’s determination to provide for ministerial training.
