		Assyriska Föreningen is a Swedish Assyrian based football club based in Södertälje.
		Assyriska is often viewed as a substitute national team by the 3 - 4 million strong Assyrian population, which originated in Turkey, Iran, Syria and Iraq but is now distributed in many countries, and the club has fans from all around the world.
		Assyriska Föreningen was founded in 1971 by Assyrian refugees from Turkey that belonged to the Syriac Orthodox Church.

		Assyriska have picked up and are on a run of six consecutive unbeaten games with three draws and three wins.
		Degerfors managed only two wins on poor teams in their nine games and are on a run of three winless matches.In last two matches they met the top two teams Orebro and Trelleborg.which can explain the poor results in them, but Degerfors were not brilliant in their other games also.
