 | | Asterius is a self-proclaimed "Gothic fl metal act"; drop the first unnecessary adjective, keep the latter and that sums it up pretty well-- if you boiled King Diamond and Cradle of Filth in a cauldron and then ground up Messiah Marcolin of Candlemass for seasoning and stirred him in, you would have Asterius. |
 | | This is not a bad effort, but I must admit to having a little trouble with traditional Black Metal arrangements-- the layered growling, hissing and spoken vocals tend to at best distract me from the music and at worst, irritate me (and we barbarians are extremely dangerous when irritated). |
