I guess Asterix and the Falling Sky, the 33rd Asterix comic book, is the first one in the series to be released all over the world on the same date.
Asterix and the Falling Sky is a full length story unlike the previous one, Asterix and the Class Act, which was a collection of 2-3 page long comic strips.
In fact, I never felt that I was reading an Asterix book, and the Gaulish fights, Roman military maneuvers and tragedies of the pirates seem to lose their comic charm.

I wont spoil the ending but we all know that every Asterix adventure ends with a feat under the starry sky to welcome our heroes back to the village.
