  Aston Clinton
Aston Clinton is a village that sits on the main A41 in Buckinghamshire, England between Tring and Aylesbury.
Traditionally there were three hamletss within the extensive parish borders of Aston Clinton in addition to the main village.
The Aston part of the village name was used in the company name of the car manufacturer Aston Martin, after co-founder Lionel Martin had great success in the hill climb competition up Aston Hill.

With Aston Clinton impressing in their semi-final match against Bierton, Haddenham United knew they'd be in for a tough match, but Haddenham's new look side of youngsters mixed with a bit of experience proved to be a good match for the opposition.
Paul Alleyne was the star of the show for Aston Clinton, as after Haddenham started off marginly the better team, he broke free on the left channel before cutting inside on his right foot to fire in a low and hard shot inside the near post and past Haddenham 'keeper Carl John.
So, Aston Clinton keep hold of the cup for another year, and with the Haddenham Challenge Cup being in memory of Bill and Joan Marshall and Roy Hutton, Bill and Joan's youngest son, Brian Marshall, presented the cup to Aston Clinton's Man of the Match and captain, Paul Alleyne.

Aston Clinton is a village of about 3,000 people nestling in the lee of the Chiltern Hills some 5 mile south east of Aylesbury, the county town of Buckinghamshire.
Sir Anthony de Rothschild came to live in Aston Clinton in 1853 and amongst his achievements was the establishment of the Chiltern Hills Spring Water Company.
