The 2 players are split between 2 islands by a river and are joined by 3 bridges (top, middle and bottom type).
You could run out of space though at your starting point especially if your building the bigger structures such as Air Fields (but i think alot of developers don't consider the more than 2 air field thing, or maybe its just me) well anyway, I think this is a great 2 player map.
