	Hatari
		Hatari is an Atari ST and STE emulator for Linux, BSD, BeOS, Mac OS X and other systems that are supported by the SDL library.
		The Atari ST was a 16/32 bit computer system which was first released by Atari in 1985.
		Unlike many other Atari ST emulators which try to give you a good environment for running GEM applications, Hatari tries to emulate the hardware of a ST as close as possible so that it is able to run most of the old ST games and demos.

		The Atari Demo Scene can probably be traced back to a group called "The Exceptions" (TEX for short) who created a series of music demos (enhanced with a bit of scrolling text and some nice rasters) in 1987.
		In 1988 the Atari Demo scene gathered further momentum with the release of the B.I.G. Demo, which was a large collection of music ported from the Commodore 64 by Jochen Hippel onto the Atari ST.
		Following the B.I.G. demo, various crews continued to push the limits of the Atari ST hardware with innovative and efficient coding techniques (pre-calculated sprites, table driven calculations etc), as well as discovering and exploiting undocumented hardware features and bugs (synchron coding, border busting, sync scrolling).

		The year 2001 has seen the first release on PC of SainT and Steem 2, which emulate the Atari ST so accurately that even tricks such as overscans and syncscrolls are supported.
		In the main menu, you use the Atari ST's cursor keys (if you are using SainT these are mapped to the numeric keypad) to move the marble into one of the doors.
		The Anomaly, like most ST demos, includes a reset demo which is started by hitting the Atari ST's "warm reset" button (in Steem this is done by right-clicking on Reset).

		Beside the big players a lot of unknown crews were active during this time, mainly preparing to become game developers, which in fact was the dreamjob for a lot of demo scene members.

		This menu requires one megabyte of ram, but it's more usable when the ST has a least two megabytes since the menu and the loader have to be reloaded after each demo with one megabyte.
