		Atol das Rocas, in former times also known as Douglas Island, is located between Fernando de Noronha, in the east and the Brasilians maincoast on a position of 03N52 and 33W49.
		Atol das Rocas is about 1.6 by 2.4 km in area and there are two islands located in the western part.
		Atol das Rocas is formed by the rest of an ancident volcano and rises abruptly from the sea-surface.
