Auckland Airport's latest project is to shift arrivals to the west of the existing facilties, so they can be used to clear passengers from the intended Pier B. This will require passengers arriving at Pier A (the current terminal) to walk to the west, clearing immigration, before retracing their steps to collect their baggage.
