  AUDIOSLAVE
Audioslave most likely intends the title to refer to the definition that means “newly revealed information,” and on that front Revelations stands as a flaming bush atop the mount.
Though Audioslave have only been a unit for five years, and Revelations is just their third album, this is the work of a band more mature than that short span might indicate.
Audioslave’s last official release was a DVD of their historic 2005 concert in Havana, the first time an American rock band had played a show in Cuba.

Audioslave - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Audioslave is a rock supergroup consisting of Chris Cornell (former frontman of Soundgarden) and the instrumentalists of Rage Against the Machine.
Once that was completed, the Audioslave moniker was chosen by the band, and in August 2002, Audioslave's first single, "Cochise", was released, named for the famous American Indian chief, the last to die free and unconquered.
Audioslave had 20 songs written (a few of which were sampled during their 2005 tour), and returned to the studio in early January to finish recording them.

When several members of his family were captured, tortured, and hung by the U.S. Cavalry, Cochise declared war on the entire Southwest and went on an unholy rampage, a warpath to end all warpaths...Cochise the Avenger, fearless and resolute, attacked everything in his path with an unbridled fury.

I’d venture to guess that Rick’s real job was to stay out of the way and let Audioslave do their thing, and give his feedback when asked for, but otherwise, let this team of multi-platinum rockers work their magic.
