		I had to do this as Cingular does not unlock their phones on the AT&T network, and I needed to put in a local SIM while on a trip to Brazil.
		The Razor and AudioVox will pick up different bands, and my guess is that the Cingular band the AudioVox is trying to sync to isn’t very good in your area (while the ATandT network is).
		I have an Audiovox SMT 5600….without a data cable(just ordered one it should be here in afew days)..I have a memory card but no origanal sim card……I have an activated nextel card.
