Fine Gael Deputy Michael Ring, Spokesperson on Social and Family Affairs, has questioned Mayo County Council in relation to the proposed new sewerage scheme for Aughagower.
A Senior Engineer has confirmed that “the proposed scheme is included in the Council¦s list of priority village sewerage schemes to be constructed under the Small Schemes Capital Programme and a Preliminary Report will be prepared in-house in due course.
It is not possible to say when exactly the scheme will be constructed as it depends on the level of funding that will be made available for these schemes over the next two to three years.
