		On 02 June 1997, he was convicted on fifteen counts of murder and conspiracy, and on 14 August under the unanimous recommendation of the jury, was sentenced to die by lethal injection.

		Physicians that filed claims with Aetna or its subsidiaries from August 4, 1990 through May 30, 2003 are automatically part of the class covered by the settlement agreement for the class action lawsuit pending in Florida Federal Court.
		The judge will either accept or reject that proposal on October 14, 2003 but it appears that that is just a formality and most likely the settlement will go forward.
		Opting out by August 29th is also the only way to extend the time period in which to explore individual legal options and again, can be revoked and the settlement then accepted as long as it is done before October 14th.

		A study by Brigham and Women's researchers found that the drug decreased risk of heart attack, stroke, and other adverse cardiovascular events by nearly one half in a group of 576 such women.
